LUTE are a four piece progressive Rock/Metal band who were formed in a DIY studio in Manchester. Founder member Ed Truscott wrote, recorded and produced debut album 'Learning Through Progression' by himself, playing all the instruments.
LUTE contrast heavy layered guitars & changing time signatures with soaring vocal harmonies and quiet acoustic moments. Influences range from TOOL to Pink Floyd.
